One thing you will hear me preach about often is the importance of printing your photos. Photography can do wonders for your decor and your spirits, but only if you get it off your computer. There are photographs that I walk by every day in my home that make me smile. I hope you have the same.
I don't always practice what I preach though. I have photos that on occasion get printed, but the vast majority sit on my computer waiting to be unearthed from my hard drive. I didn't want that to happen with my wedding photos. My husband Mike and I got married about five months ago, we got our photos about two months ago, and last week, we hung some wedding prints in our bedroom. But not just any prints. I ordered three large canvas gallery wraps from my lab, MPixPro.
I have been in the process of redecorating my and Mike's master bedroom for a few months. It had been coming together really nicely, but we had nothing above our headboard. It was waiting for some artwork, and that artwork came in the form of two 16x16 inch and one 16x24 inch gallery wrap.
My wraps arrived a few days after placing my order. And my lab did such a great job making sure they made the transport safe and sound. Honestly it felt like Christmas Day unwrapping these bad boys.
Beneath all the packaging were three very beautiful and pristine canvas prints.
The best thing about these wraps though, (aside from the quality, which is AMAZING) were that they came ready to hang. There is a sawtooth hangar affixed to the top of the print. In addition, there are rubber stoppers on the bottom corners of the print to ensure it won't damage any walls or move once it's in place.
And the prints themselves, even though they are pretty sizable, are not heavy. Hanging them on the wall could not have been easier. For my husband. He does all the hanging of the photos in my house. It is better for our relationship as well as the walls in our home. I measure, he hangs.
And just look how pretty they are!
I thought about a few different photo combinations, but after measuring the size of the wall above the headboard, these sizes seemed to make the most sense. I think I chose right. I loved my bedroom before, but I can now say these prints are counted among the ones in my house that make me smile every single time I see them. And with these photos, my bedroom redo complete!
