A few weeks ago, I packed up my gear, some blankets and a heater fan and headed down south on the blue line to capture these little lips with my camera.
Newborn shoots are a ton of fun, but they take some work. Babies when they are this young are on their own schedule. I showed up on time, but this little man wasn't completely ready for his camera debut. Luckily, he has some energetic and photogenic siblings that were ready for their close up.
This is Mila.
And this is Dominic.
They are twins. And their parents own a lovely dog, a sweet 11-year-old lab named Peyton. Getting all five people and one dog in a photo was a challenge, so I settled on the five humans and got a solo shot of Peyton. I know in the choas of a new baby, older siblings can sometimes feel left out. Not Mila and Dominic though. These kids are so loved.
But this shoot was still all about Jax, so we warmed him up, stripped him and down and got him ready for some photos.
And this little man - and his bear hat (!!!) - were ready.
And then we were done. Newborn shoots take a while, so by the time it was over, we were all feeling like this.
