I briefly considered titling this blog post "My Precious" because I love Gollum-style what I am about to show you.
As I mentioned on this blog before, I spent a lot of time last winter thinking about how I wanted to grow my business and in what direction I wanted to take it. One of the things I no longer wanted to do was hand over digital images and wish my clients luck printing their photos. It felt like a disservice to spend so much time and effort creating beautiful images for my clients and then send them on their merry way without guidance into the world of photo display and printing. As a result, this year I have made an effort to demonstrate a handful of ways in which my images can be displayed. They range from collages on 5x30 prints to 7 foot wide wall displays. It all depends on the client's taste, available wall space and budget.
But deep down, I know people will always want digital images, and I do not want to deter people from having them. But I do still want to provide a service for those clients of mine who would rather handle their own printing and displays. Enter the Amy Sayre Photography thumb drive.
How sweet is that?!?! I kid you not when I say that these thumb drives may be the single coolest thing that has happened to Amy Sayre Photography, well aside from getting to meet and photograph my clients. That will trump anything else, but these beauties are a close second.
These thumb drives enable me to provide a better service to you in a few different ways. First, on the thumb drives, not only will you receive the photos you selected (both high and low resolution files), but I have created a handy printing guide that will allow you to view the best ways and places to print your photos. In addition, I'll also include a print release so you won't have any trouble proving to labs that your images are indeed yours.
And it all comes in this very cute little package.
You'll notice there is more than just a thumb drive in the image above. That's because not only do you get a thumb drive, you get something else equally awesome. You get 4x6 prints of all the images you selected. That's right, 4x6 prints! Remember those?
By giving you 4x6 prints, you will have a model of how your photos should look. So no matter where you take your images, you'll be able to gauge what the final prints should look like. And how fun is it to flip through 4x6's? Very fun, if you ask me.
So future clients, order digital negatives from me and you can get all this.
Dog paw not included.
